Topshop Unique’s 80s inspired glam was hands down our favourite SS17 beauty look.

It was golden goddess meets Miami Vice, with models wearing a sexy burnt orange glossed eye and burnished bronze cheeks.

To top it all off, hair was crinkle curled and side swept for a serious 80s throwback. 

Zebra prints pranced up and down the runway, along with a mix of tastefully sheer evening wear and high waist vinyl cigarette pants.

The overall look was glossy, sleek and totally chic.

Topshop Make-up artist Hannah Murray created the look, by mixing a burgundy lipstick with Topshop’s bronze Contour Wand and swiping it on the lids. She smoked it out underneath the eyes for a super creamy smudged effect and dabbed a generous amount of clear lipgloss on top, for that gorgeous glassy dew. Lips were coated in the most perfect cool toned brown and the rest of the face was doused in illuminating bronzer. 

Using strictly cream products gave models a hydrated sun-kissed glow and by keeping makeup monochrome, Murray made sure this look stayed youthful and elegant. 

As a rule, we love the versatility of warm browns and rusty oranges, as they're colours that suit so many skin tones and can be easily worn during the day, or dressed up for evening.
