January can be pretty dull. New dietary regimes, workout routines and resolutions are no fun, There is one good thing about January though: new releases. So without further ado, we’ve rounded up the hot new launches to help ease our mutual aching for spring.
The newest collection by MAC is a tribute to the 70s. The golden finis, the pink-white ombre packaging and the stunning blush compact are all a treat to look at. Luckily for us, the swoon worthy packaging is not the best thing about this offering. The clever dual blush comes with a deep raspberry pink and a peachy rose gold. The achingly 'summer' lipsticks come in a range of soft pink and berry shades, and the nine shadow palette is a mixture of peaches, pinks and a stunning plummy shade. This is one for your next trip to Cali.
Too Faced’s eyeshadow palettes are always a major must and always sell out. And with that, the brand is on its way to becoming the best-kept secret of beauty editors and fashion journalists (unless you use the Slapp app, of course.). Whether you’re after that perfect nude or a bit of bold, the white peach palette will be right up your alley. And as with every Too Faced palette, the scent is incredible; in this case, white peaches!

Fenty Beauty, Mattemoiselle Plush Matte Lipstick
Since launching, Rih’s makeup line has had beauty-bloggers and makeup fiends insatiably waiting for her next drop. And Mattemoiselle most definitely doesn’t disappoint. The newest collection of 13 matte lipsticks, was released on Boxing Day (v.smart), and the collection has received rave after rave. The non-drying comfortable mattes are something of a revolution, meaning we can finally kiss the days of crackling liquid lips goodbye. Our highlights? The deeper than deep burgundy, Griselda; the deliciously bright tangerine, Freckle Fiesta; and a the stunningly shocking pink, Candy Venom. For the more audacious, the green, Midnight Wasabi and power blue, Clapback; are musts.
Chantecaille Year of the Dog Highlighter
This is one for dog lovers and 00s glamourpusses alike. The glitzy silver compact is perfect for any (and literally every) occasion, and the highlight itself is divine. It's perfect for channeling Elsa/Frozen vibes, but as with all things Chantecaille, this is pure grown-up class. Whilst this icy hue won't be for everyone, it might be worth buying for the pup alone.
