As we step into the warmer (fingers crossed) days of Spring, we’ve started to crave a complexion brightening glow. We want something lightweight and as good for our skin as possible, so we asked our Green Skincare expert Hannah what she thought of Vapour’s Illusionist Concealer.
“Vapour’s concealer, holds its own as a complexion smoothing, ‘your skin but better’ option, which I have been really enjoying in my day to day makeup routine; it can also be worn over foundation to add extra coverage and that glow, thanks to its brightness boosting, light reflecting minerals.
Packed with Tulsi and Lotus extracts, Illusionist Concealer is also the perfect choice for anyone like me, who has sensitive, irritable skin. Not only is there absolutely no irritation, but with such a breathable texture I barely felt like I had makeup on my skin at all.
As a company, Vapour caters for all skin tones with its array of colour choices (use the Slapp app to match your perfect tone) and although the coverage alone may not be the strongest, this product is beautifully blend-able with no settling into fine lines - especially around the eye area where I found the product to be particularly great at evening my skin tone and brightening.
At £22, it is slightly on the pricier side, however a little really does go a long way and with its dual purpose as a concealer and a dewy, glow creating highlighter. It is definitely one I will be purchasing again.”
