This will be your every day highlight for summer and it comes in a handy stick form. No need for anything else!
Marc Jacobs Coconut range how we love thee. What started as a love affair with the coconut setting spray, has quickly moved onto the primer. We fell in love with this when we saw the skin of our stunning MUA at the Harvey Nichols counter, who said this was all she had on. Reach for this when you want a sickening natural glow, that doesn’t look overly ‘glowy’.
Charlotte Tilbury’s Glowgasm is a gorgeous all in one cheek palette. The beautifully packaged highlight, bronzer and blusher, are the perfect blend of buildable shimmer for summer. Sadly the bronzer on the Lovegasm (darker palette) doesn’t have any colour pay off; but the glows, which give a sheeny sweep of golden sexiness and come alive in the sun, make up for it.
5. Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer
This primer is slightly more handy than the Marc Jacobs primer for travelling, simply because it comes in a plastic bottle. This gorgeous green primer is gel like in texture and packed with lots of natural goodies as well as Milk’s signature CBD. Blue agave, Aloe water and Hyaluronic acid are just a few of the ingredients that make this a hydrating primer that grips to your skin. Put it in the fridge for a refreshing and awakening facial! But whatever you do, don’t forget to let it sit on skin for a minute, to get that good hydro grip!
6. Marc Jacobs Accomplice Concealer
Cute and perfectly formed, you’d be surprised at how much product this little concealer bullet holds! Coming in a range of shades and undertones, we love dabbing this touch up concealer under our eyes throughout the day, and anywhere our makeup needs a refresh. The pigment of this is powerful and extremely long lasting. And it is perfect for spot concealing, travelling, festivals and whatever else you have planned this summer.
7. Pat McGrath Eyedols in Rose Venus
If you could only buy one single eyeshadow this summer, make it this. This seemingly delicate pink packs a real punch and looks phenomenal on all skin tones. It is metallic but in a sheeny, not shiny way and lasts all day. This is a really wearable shade that can be layered up for more of a striking look, but one sweep is really all you need. Wear this all summer long and watch the compliments roll in as it catches the light.
8. Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face
Is it a primer, is it a highlighter? Whatever you use the Kevyn Aucoin Glass Glow Face for, you’re guaranteed be hooked. This pigmented Illuminator is great under foundation, or on bare skin for this summer’s most wanted: glass glow.
