Ok, so it's not exactly original to complain about the weather; but this will it, won't it snow situ we're experiencing is majorly wreaking havoc on our skin, let alone our makeup.

Whilst we wait for March to make its mind up, we've selected four of our favourite foundations for tackling the Spring sun and chill.

First up is Fenty's Pro Filt’r. By now we all know that Rihanna’s eponymous makeup line, has its shades on point, but it is most fantastic for creating a flawless base that will always take you from day to night. This foundation is great for oily, combination and regular skin, but if you suffer from dry patches, be sure to keep your skin hydrated.

Next on our list is one of our everyday favourites. Nip & Fab's Foundation is the perfect combination of lightweight, but long-lasting and provides fantastic coverage. The shade range is a little off on the darker spectrum. Create your perfect shade with their lightening drops. For a little luminescence on snowy days, we'd recommend adding a few highlighting drops into the mix: the results are honestly awesome.

Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation is a classic that we'll never tire of. The shade range is phenomenal and - the formula is ideal for creating that second skin finish. We love it in stick form too, but in this precarious weather, liquid is definitely your best weapon.

And last but not least, we had to include our newest app addition: Charlotte Tilbury's Flawless Filter. If full on beat is your thing, then you definitely wouldn't consider this a foundation; but if you're more of a tint girl, this is ideal. 
It's somewhere between a tint and medium coverage, and can be used on its own, or blended with your foundation or moisturiser. This will be your go to come summer, so you may as well get acquainted.
